First off I have cancelled my mainstream news outlets and no longer pay attention to them, this has actually been a good thing for me. I have gone in search of truth telling rather than the horseshit that has been fed to me for the last decade. My mental strength has increased and I feel more at ease when trying to voice my opinions since I go out of my way to find the truth rather than just rehashing garbage that I cannot substantiate. I also don’t feel like I am being led around by the nose while being kicked in the ass. The other thing that is good is I no longer feel helpless.
I have also implemented my new budget for the years that are coming I am cancelling everything that I do not need to survive, my life insurance, cutting back on feeding cats and self, see post below, “Am I invisible”, for my new budget going forward. My savings this month are up to 900. with the life ins cut it brings it to my $1100 target.

Some ways to get involved going forward
Fix our Electoral college Bullshit.
Agreement among the states to elect the President by National Popular Vote. The National Popular Vote compact total currently sits at 209. NPVIC. If you are in a state that is not in this compact urge your reps and senators to consider doing this, you can go here for more information NPVIC.
Another option is RCV ranked choice voting.
Another way for a fix in the area may be to allow all voters to be considered independent and that way gerrymandering would be harder to achieve and all voters would not be excluded from some voting rolls. Forcing a person to select one side or the other is not a fair way to espouse democracy because when they force them to declare one side or the other they are then targeted to remain in that camp as well as excluding them from some elections. It also produces a US vs THEM mentality. No longer would a party be able to predict how a person may or may not vote. It’s kind of like telling your kids they are going for ice cream but can only have one of two flavors and they have to choose the flavor before you make up your mind to take them.

It has been suggested by Andrea Chalupa (Gaslit America) to chose one American kleptocrat and follow all their misdeeds, become a sort of investigative journalist. I have to admit my bias here as you can see by the article below my first thought was to investigate the incoming administration, but if I am to be fair there are plenty of these sorts of people on the other side of the political spectrum. Two that come to mind are Kirsten Cinema and Joe Manchin. The current political spectrum is shameful ON BOTH SIDES. I want these people to stop falling down on the job, throwing their hands in the air displaying helplessness, and outright slapping us in the face with lies and cheating on a gross scale.

These are just some of the arguments I hear floating around. I present them like this (negative - positive) because there is more than one viewpoint to the picture and with a thoughtful solution focused view and approach this is not an unsurmountable problem as all of our gilded congressional people like to tell us. The way I see it, they create their own problems with it by not having any tolerance for people just being human and not the OTHER. There goes that friggen US vs THEM mentality again. It is so prevalent in our politics and it is sickening.
One of the things that I have taught myself over the years is that some things are not in my control but if I view it from another perspective there are things within my control that I can do that may contribute to a better solution or outcome for my current issue. Another way to say this is that there is no particular outcome that has to be the only outcome or solution.
One thing I know for sure is how the issue is being presented to us, is in a manner that is not conducive to creating a solution. It seems to me presenting it as “THE OTHER” or “SAVAGES” or “EATING OUR PETS” invokes nothing but fear and instant loathing.
Also wringing your hands and presenting that your hands are tied by the “powers that be” and can do nothing is also not solution focused, especially since you are in that “powers that be” position. That approach just seems to indicate that you are implying that you are helpless and powerless. Which creates a dissonance within me because you ARE in that position of power. So what is going on here are we all playing a game of make believe and just denying what is in front of our faces about this made up issue of immigration?

My thought on these areas will be forthcoming; state sponsored violence to control the masses, insurance companies, police profiling and coercion, corporate greed and stagnation of upward mobility, the continued and ever increasing economic inequality and the institutional violence visited upon us on a daily basis. We as people are HURTING every day - day in and day out.
JUDICIAL
Our judicial system is made up of several tiers and justice for the wealthy is not the same as justice for the poor. Access to all the levers of power and accountability are not the same and creates a different outcome. This means that justice is not blind and it is basically arbitrary depending upon how the wheels are greased.
This is a level of cruel and unjust punishment that is regularly visited upon us and depending upon who has it in for you it could be you.
Justice also is being infected by our political landscape.
Lawyers are taught to create and present different scenarios, lets be clear you can create any amount of pictures to try and get people to believe that something is true and depending upon who you are talking to, their emotional intelligence will become part of how they view this.
You cannot separate a person from their morals, values and beliefs. these things are encoded within them, by them for their own survival. A person can re-teach themselves to adjust these things but you cannot give this to them. So when a different view is presented it opens our eyes to considering a different view of the same instance - that is not blindness - that is showing you that there is more than one way to look at something. If is is presented in a negative way it may invoke a negative reaction within, and vice versa for a positive presentation. Our words invoke our emotions that we want others to feel, we do it every day all day long to allow us to navigate this world and survive.
Some people have the turpitude to be like a chameleon and change their stories depending upon who and what the situation warrants. There is no computation for them to hold themselves accountable and they may even believe that their actions no matter how abhorrent are justified. I can say for sure that when I was in the throes of my addiction I felt entirely justified by my actions because it allowed me to survive another day. Looking back you would not catch me doing any of those things because I shifted my accountability inwards and committed to the boundaries that allow me to survive and be safe in a more productive, happy and healthy way.
The complexity of being human creates our uniqueness in being able to manifest any number of outcomes good as well as harmful by our actions and reactions. When you start from a screwed up place within you will generally end up in a more screwed up place and basically just existing.

I may be invisible, none of these things have even got the whiff of having been seen by anybody. This site is worse than my facebook does no one have time to even stop for a few milliseconds to react? WTH am I doing wrong? Someone please tell me.
My new budget
Lets see how can I tighten my belt
Cut down on my food that I purchase for my animals Current spending about 350 I can cut that to prob about 100, saving 250
I can start eating very frugally, sandwiches and soup (one meal a day a coffee a day maybe) so current groceries that I purchase is about 370 I can prob live on about 120 saving 250
Extraneous spending 700 I can prob cut that to 100 saving 600
My cuts
Animals 100 -250 saving
Food 120 - 250 saving
Extra 100 - 600 saving
Savings approx 1100 per month from going into others pockets and only drip in 320 So essentially I can start now by curbing everything I do to gear up for homelessness. and put that other 1100 away for these rainy days coming.
That’s a total of 13,200 per year back in my pocket and for daily expenses it will equal out to about 10 bucks a day. When things get real bad I know of an abandoned house I can put my pets into and come and feed them everyday, so they will be safe and I can find places to flop at as needed.
I can see a Lot of companies going out of business when they cut off SS, snap, housing and medical funding. These companies really should know how being without these programs will hit their bottom line when people no longer have the ability to push all that money to them. It is a double edged sword.
The Media Is Doing It To Us Again
Continually slapping us in the face with shit we have no control of, stoking our fears and offering no solutions. I swear they want to make us feel trapped and in despair and they have the megaphone to do it.
Yes things are going to be horrible and we are all following this off the cliff like freaking lemmings. We see it coming but have no power whatsoever to stop it. There is no real effort to give us answers nor direction just continual fear

Found out this is not a true statement so I am updating it here (fake lemmings deaths of the 1958 docu film from Disney called White Wilderness) This is a perfect example of how propaganda spreads and becomes truth over time. You mention that sentence to someone and they probably have heard it somewhere in their lives and never even decided to fact check it. I have used this description over and over again and only found out that it was false recently. Call me gullible I never could understand this type of behavior by a whole species of an animal but it seemed plausible. And really that’s all you need some tiny kernel of plausibility and walla it becomes true after being repeated over and over in several corners of the world. This is what we are currently experiencing on a grand scale, it is up to us, each one of us deciding if we want to propagate a truth or something else.
